Can a friend be saved from the Great Empty? More precisely — the Royal Adviser, a striped sock stranded on the planet Great Empty, right in the middle of a grey abyss. It is disappearing before everyone’s eyes, dissolving into the mist, and soon there may be no trace of it left. Not in memories, not in books, not anywhere…

Leading them is the ever-reliable Sock Goblin. Ahead lies a dangerous intergalactic expedition full of dark matter, asteroids, white dwarfs, and surprising planets.
