Pull Yourself together
This story follows three girls who are just starting to figure out the grown-up world—and it’s not always easy. There’s a lot to deal with: parents splitting up, feeling like you don’t quite fit in, figuring out who you are (and who you love), broken hearts, and the heavy moments that life sometimes throws your way. It all starts with a simple online friendship, but before long, their connection turns into something really special. Together, they face life’s ups and downs—supporting each other through the good times… and the not-so-good ones.
Ania is both the main character and the narrator of this story, which unfolds over several years. The idea for the book came from a desire to show what it’s like when someone close to you is struggling with depression. It offers a unique perspective—unlike many graphic novels that focus on the experience of the person who is ill, this one looks at it from the outside, through the eyes of someone who cares deeply. At its heart, though, it’s also a story about a deep and lasting friendship that manages to survive, even when life throws some serious challenges their way.
