Little Rakes
Everyone has superpowers — even Little Rakes.
Our little red sandpit heroes aren’t very good at being tools. They can’t scoop sand, carry water, or build towering sandcastles. In fact, everything just slips right through them!
At first, the Little Rakes feel a bit left out as the other toys seem much more useful. But then they discover something surprising — maybe they’re not useless after all. Maybe they have a special talent that nobody has noticed yet.
This funny, warm-hearted story helps readers understand how words can affect our feelings, how our thoughts don’t always tell the whole story, and how everyone has their own unique strengths. It gently encourages confidence, kindness, and looking at things in a different way — sometimes even upside down!
Bright, playful illustrations by Joanna Bartosik bring the sandpit world to life, filled with sunshine, imagination, and a group of determined little rakes discovering what makes them special.
