Chronicles of the Great Forest 1.The Mystery of the Mysterious Old Lady

When Rose moves with her parents to a small town by the Great Forest and the crescent-shaped Moon Lake, she expects it to be quiet and maybe a little boring. After all, her mom is there to study the ruins of a mysterious ancient civilization hardly anyone knows about.

But the new place turns out to be anything but ordinary. There’s a very un-goat-like goat, a cat who practically adopts Rose’s family, and a strange old neighbor who keeps sneaking into the forest for hours at a time. Odd noises come from her house at night, and her goat seems to appear in the most unexpected places—as if it’s spying on Rose.

In the first volume of Chronicles of the Great Forest, one mystery leads to another, and between secrets, surprises, and forest shadows, Rose discovers new friendships, wild adventures, and more than a little magic.

The series will include 5 volumes.
