Bulbes and Hania Papierek series

This series follows a curious but sensitive first-grader, Bulbes, and his shy best friend, Hania Papierek. They will face numerous challenges and adventures together. Each book explores a specific emotion, such as fear, shame, rage, or love.
The author describes their experiences from many angles, introducing the reader to the world of children’s everyday thoughts, fantasies, and concerns, as well as those coming in the confrontation with the world of adults and those resulting from young heroes’ extraordinary sensitivity.
