Boy from the Forest
Ala is a girl like many others, and yet… different. She is excellent at mental arithmetic, dislikes being hugged, and talks to the fence, a spoon, and her dog, As. She lives in a comfortable and joyful house on the outskirts of a forest that sometimes appears dark and frightening. One day, she finds a worn-out child’s shoe among the trees and soon comes across another… The shoes belong to a boy who, like many others, is also different. He’s soaked, cold, and lonely. This is the start of a relationship that would change their lives forever. This is an extraordinary story about friendship, courage, and trust.
The contemporary issue of migration is presented by the human experience of meeting another person.
