Barbara the Capybara

Barbara the capybara lives in Pernambuco, Brazil. She loves splashing around in the water, eating grass (from right to left, of course!), and listening to Felix sing. She is curious about the world and when she wants to do something, she just does it! That’s how she ends up taking ballet lessons, starting her dance school, and helping her cousin run the family business, even though she has no idea what that difficult word means.

While Barbara’s life is full of adventures, there are times when she wants to be alone and watch the hummingbirds. She doesn’t like anything too complicated and doesn’t have to understand everything. In her opinion, the simple things are the best… and she’s probably right!
