Anubis. Thin Places 1& 2 Artbooks
The Egyptian deity with the head of a jackal, a psychopomp of ancient origins, appears on canvases in contemporary contexts. The figure of Anubis is not a personification of death. He is a guide of souls, a “midwife of the departed” in Jung’s approach: “End of Life Doula.” He is the one who accompanies us in the transition between one world and another. We meet him at the end of our path, but we can see him throughout our lives – in places where the border between two worlds is particularly thin – in “Thin Places„.
“Anubis. Thin Places 1” includes 117 high-quality reproductions of selected paintings and short comic forms by the author. The foreword by Imogen Osborne comes from the Aurelia Magazine, led by Kya Bouler.
“Anubis. Thin Places 2” is a collection of 222 works presented at exhibitions and those never previously shown in public.
““Anubis. Thin Places 3” to be published on 2026
