How hard it is to be a King? Is it easy to govern?

Years ago, when writing the novel “King Matt the First”, Janusz Korczak, together with children, reflected on the hardships and responsibilities related to the exercise of power. These are the questions the protagonist of the book is trying to answer.

This book is based on selected fragments of that novel with excellent visual interpretation by Iwona Chmielewska.

Korczak stressed that the memory of “the inner child within” keeps the look fresh and the world clean, and he considered children to be full citizens and participants in social life. He wanted them to believe in themselves and knew that “you can’t leave the world as it is”. This book wants to remind you of that.

An amazing read for both children and adults.
