„The Patchworkers” is a story of a sensitive boy who lives in a patchwork family, and who tries to understand the reality that surrounds him and the complexity of contemporary relations between adults.

His family consists of divorced parents, dad’s former wife and their children, dad’s present pregnant wife, and his mother’s current life partners. The protagonist tells us about his world with great humor from the perspective of an adolescent child, but also as a member of the family tribe who has the right to vote: to accept or to objection.

There is time for bitter reflection, sincere laughter, and conflicting emotions.
